After nearly a decade, Land Rover debuts a new generation of Range Rover. The fifth-generation 2022 Land Rover Range Rover features a new three-row option that seats seven and will soon offer a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain. The tweaks to the exterior may be subtle, but inside it is a whole new ballgame. The all-new 2022 Land Rover Range Rover gets a streamlined new look, some serious technology updates and even more capability.
Sleek Minimalist Design
Setting it apart from the competition, Land Rover removed any excess lines, distracting fenders, massive grilles, and unnecessary plastic and rubber to create a beautiful, timeless SUV that is more aerodynamic. The overall silhouette carries over from the previous generation of Range Rover, but now everything blends in seamlessly, including the retractable door handles. The refined new 2022 Land Rover Range Rover offers a plethora of exterior color choices, including two-tone options. The whole look is one of restraint, a true feat in automotive design.
New MLA-Flex Architecture
The all-new Land Rover Range Rover is built with a 75% aluminum body structure and has more stiffness to create a safer drive. Adaptive Dynamics monitor movements 500x a minute and adjust with continuously variable damper settings. The standard Electronic Air Suspension System with Dynamic Response Pro improves handling, cornering and reduces body roll. You can also raise or lower the all-new 2022 Range Rover to make loading/unloading cargo easier and enhance its smooth ride. Electronic Active Rear Locking Differential and Torque Vectoring by Braking provide more traction, grip and control.
Choice of Powertrains
The 2022 Range Rover offers a standard 3.0-liter turbocharged I6 with a mild-hybrid (MHEV) system that pumps out 395-hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. If that’s not enough for you, upgrade to the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with 523-hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. For the first time, the Land Rover Range Rover will offer a plug-in hybrid option with 423-hp in 2023, followed by a full EV version set to debut in 2024. The new Land Rover Range Rover extended-range PHEV is estimated to get 62-miles in all-electric range.

For the first time, All Wheel Steering comes standard and makes the all-new 2022 Land Rover Range Rover the easiest Land Rover to maneuver yet. Terrain Response® 2 with Configurable Terrain Response® technology lets you choose from eight drive modes so you can navigate any terrain with precision. And the all-new Range Rover can wade a deep as the new Land Rover Defender at up to 35.4 inches. Get up to 11.6 inches of ground clearance and tow up to 7,716 pounds. Use advanced driver-assist tech, including Hitch Assist & Trailer Stability Control to steer your trailer load like a pro.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Land Rover if it didn’t offer a luxurious cabin space. Like the exterior, the all-new Range Rover features a minimalist interior – in design only. New Executive Rear Class Seating lets you choose between four or five seats based on passenger needs. The seating is wide, plush and spacious. Alexa Built-In makes it easy to control with voice activation, including from inside your home when paired with your smart devices. Those in the Rear Executive Class seats can control climate, music and more with an 8-inch rear touchscreen controller. The available Rear Seat Entertainment system adds two 11.4-inch HD screens to watch movies or connect a console with HDMI.
